Whether you’re in active treatment, recently out of it, or navigating survivorship, our Oncology Support sessions are adapted to meet your specific needs with care, presence, and gentle therapeutic intention.
Led by Joanne Castro, CLT, PTA, LMT—with advanced training in lymphatic therapy, craniosacral work, and oncology massage—each session is customized to provide a nurturing pause in the midst of a challenging time.
What Is Oncology Massage?
Oncology Massage is a specialized approach that adapts traditional massage techniques to safely work with individuals affected by cancer and cancer treatment. It considers:

Touch is modified in pressure, positioning, and timing to promote relaxation, reduce symptoms, and honor your body’s current state.

Session Types:
🌸 Oncology Support Session – Returning Clients
60 minutes of gentle, intuitive bodywork that may include manual lymph drainage, craniosacral therapy, adapted massage, and energy work depending on your needs that day.
🌿 Oncology Support Session – New Clients
Includes a brief phone consultation prior to your visit to review your medical history, current symptoms, and goals. 60-minute hands-on session + 10-minute intake.
